EVER fancied being sawn in half and set alight to entertain audiences around the world?

If you have, Huddersfield magician David Knight could be offering the perfect opportunity for you.
David, 27, of Crosland Moor, is looking for a new magician's assistant to sail away with him on a series of new cruise ship and holiday resort contracts he has been offered.
David (pictured performing his act) said: "They have got to start straight away, have a clean passport and like a challenge. They will see the world."
David's former assistant is unable to travel with him because of family commitments.
David and his new assistant will be performing at hotels and on ships for between three weeks and nine months in places are varied as Blackpool and Barbados.
Their act will be Dreamscape, a series of five re-vamped classic illusions that David has developed over eight years.
Tricks include sawing the assistant in two and sealing her together with fire. David will also perform Houdini's famous water escape - while wearing chains in a locked tank.
After several weeks training, David's new assistant will perform with him at a final act at Huddersfield's Chicago Rock cafe.
This will be David's first foray into the world of cruise ship tours in a career that stretches from receiving his first magic set at nine years old to joining the prestigious Magic Circle. He became a professional magician in 1995.
According to David, the ideal assistant would be aged 18 to 28, up for a challenge and ready to drop everything to travel.
They should also be no taller than him - 5ft 10ins - and preferably have some acting or dance experience, though this is not essential as training will be given.
