Police say there were no suspicious circumstances involved in the massive Batley mill fire which broke out yesterday.

Around 70 firefighters from across West Yorkshire took nearly four hours to bring the warehouse inferno under control at Greenhill Mills in Grange Road.

Operation Commander Richard Hall said it had developed so fast due to the amount of highly combustible textile material stored there.

Fire investigators are still trying to establish what caused the fire.
