It wasn't perfect June weather but hundreds of people enjoyed their day out at Huddersfield's premier agricultural show.

Crowds flocked to the Honley Show to see the animals - from guinea pigs to pedigree show dogs - as well as special treats such as the The Stannage International Stunt Team whose skilled bikers wowed the crowds with two gravity-defying shows.

The bar did some brisk trade and there were some fabulous cakes in the members' tent, courtesy of the award-winning Bolster Moor Farm Shop.

It was a bit damp underfoot but there was still plenty to do for kids and grown-ups, from bouncy castles to an assault course, not to mention the dozens of arts, crafts, cakes and competitions.

Visitors enjoyed vintage cars, birds of prey, not to mention various tractors at the show fields at Farnley Tyas. There was even a chance to try your hand at throwing a tomahawk.

Children enjoyed seeing the various animals, including various guinea pigs, mice and fowl.

In the main arena, there was an owl demonstration and visitors also enjoyed watching show jumpers, dozens of dog breeds and heavy horses.
