Lots of you tuned in to watch the first feature-length episode of Jericho last night.

The new ITV drama, filmed in Huddersfield, began with an exciting plot of gunpowder plots, cat fights, murder and dark secrets.

Here's what you thought:

Paul Taylor: "Blake Lea up Marsden just over Easter bridge used for wash scenes I think!
Brought back memories as a young 'un doing exactly same up there."

Diane Hobson: "Really enjoyed it and will be watching avidly to see what happens next week! The opening scene at Colne Valley Museum was just above the house where I grew up in! Used to go to the museum with my dad when it was Golcar Labour Club! Anyway, loving the scenery and the memories and looking forward to the next storyline!"

Ben Sweet: "A great start to Jericho. Great reviews and how good does it feel to have our part of Yorkshire beamed to the nation! Flying the flag for British drama in little old Huddersfield, be proud."

Mandy Birbeck: "Loved it my little girl (in the middle) was a navvy filmed a good few times can't wait for more."

Julie Read Moutell: "Loved it. Shows the fantastic scenery we have."

Sheila Taylor: "Really good start to the series, cannot wait for next week."

Not everyone loved it:

Helen Dolan: "I thought it was a bit slow to start and didn't like the depressing music in the background but I did get into it the last half hour, think it was ok."

David Neal: "Not over impressed, I was expecting drama and got Coronation Street/Eastenders set in Victorian times."

Barbara Townsend: "Great that its local, but too many adverts, and an hour and a half was too long — I've recorded the last half hour."

Sally M Rhodes: "Too many adverts, some scenes to dark to really see what was going on."
