A MAN from Huddersfield is among 15 people charged in connection with violence at the FA Cup tie between Everton and Manchester United.
The match at Goodison Park on Saturday evening was marred by clashes on and off the pitch.
Merseyside police said 14 men and a teenager had been charged with offences, including being drunk and disorderly, possession of alcohol in a sports venue, affray and assault.
Police blamed the 5.30pm kick-off for encouraging drinking before the match.
During the game, United goalkeeper Roy Carroll was felled by a coin thrown from the crowd and a mobile phone and plastic bottles were recovered from the pitch.
