THREE men were arrested today in early morning drug raids at Ravensthorpe.
Members of the Kirklees District Drugs Team, CID officers, Dewsbury Police Target Team and community beat officers raided several addresses this morning.
They found "substantial" amounts of cash and a quantity of class B controlled drugs.
The raids were the result of information passed to the police's Dob In A Dealer hotline through Crimestoppers.
The three arrested were Ravensthorpe men.
A 28-year-old man is being questioned on suspicion of drug trafficking offences.
A 50-year-old man and a man in his 20s are being questioned about drug trafficking and other offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
All are being held at Dewsbury Police Station.
Det Insp John Gilbody, head of Kirklees District Drugs Team, thanked the local community for passing on information.
He said: "By working together I am convinced that we can all make a real difference. My team is still gathering pace and I will continue to use every means at my disposal to bring to justice those who bring misery to the streets of Kirklees.
"It is so important that people come forward and contact the Dob in a Dealer hotline. Don't assume that we know already, you may well hold that vital piece of information we need."
Anyone with information that may help the drugs team can contact the Dob in a Dealer hotline by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
