A FORMER dustman who won £9.7m on the Lottery three years ago was appearing in court today, accused of breaking an Anti-Social Behaviour Order.

The Asbo was imposed a month ago after magistrates heard how Michael Carroll caused more than £3,000 damage by catapulting ball-bearings at cars and windows.

Carroll, 22, who has homes in Downham Market and Swaffham, Norfolk, was appearing before King's Lynn magistrates.

They imposed the Asbo after being told that Carroll had gone on a "spree of criminal damage", firing ball-bearings from a cata- pult as he was driven along in a black Mercedes van.

Carroll's targets included a number of cars and a butcher's shop. No-one was hurt.
