HUDDERSFIELD Town and Giants chairman Ken Davy is to speak about his experiences in business.
Mr Davy, who led the rescue of Town when the club went into administration this year, will give the third and final talk in a series of Great Entrepreneur Lectures hosted by Huddersfield University's School of Business.
His talk will be on Thursday, January 29, at the Canalside West Lecture Theatre, Firth Street, Aspley.
Mr Davy is chairman of Bradley-based SimplyBiz, a company providing support online for independent financial advisers (IFAs).
Before that, he headed Lindley-based IFA support group DBS Management - spearheading its development into a multi-million-pound business and leading it to its stock market flotation in 1997.
Next Tuesday, the lecture series continues when former Huddersfield Polytechnic graduate George Buckley is the speaker.
Sheffield-born Mr Buckley is chairman and chief executive of US-based Brunswick Corporation, which makes products ranging from bowling alleys, pool and snooker tables to marine engines.
He will speak on the lessons that UK firms can learn from their US counterparts.
The first speaker in the series was Suzanne Hart, head of company registration and search agency York Place Company Services in Leeds.
