TWO accidents happened within minutes of each other on the same stretch of road.

A pedestrian was in an accident with a car on Bradford Road near its junction with Eleanor Street in Hillhouse at 5pm on Monday.

Moments later two cars collided nearby.

The pedestrian, a 19-year-old man, was in an accident with a Peugeot 206 and suffered cuts and grazes.

The other accident involved a Toyota Yaris and a Suzuki car.

A 23-year-old Huddersfield woman driving the Toyota suffered a bruised left knee and the Suzuki driver, a 28-year-old man from Deighton, suffered whiplash.
