A MAN accused of carrying an axe during the Queen’s visit to Huddersfield earlier this year faced two more charges when he appeared before Bradford Crown Court today.

Daniel Bleazard, 34, has already pleaded not guilty to possessing an offensive weapon and breaching an anti-social behaviour order in St George’s Square, Huddersfield, during the Royal visit on May 24.

Today he denied two more allegations relating to alleged incidents in the town on June 14.

He is charged with going equipped for burglary or theft by being in possession of gloves, a knife, a torch and a hammer and with possessing a knife in Reinwood Road, Huddersfield.

A trial has been fixed for December 17. Bleazard, of Adelphi Road, Marsh, was given conditional bail until that day.
