Yorkshire’s biggest aerobics event, the Aerobathon ’09, was a great success.
Nearly 500 people took part in the sponsored event to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
The two-hour aerobics marathon took place in leisure centres all over Yorkshire. Participants worked out to music and were led by qualified aerobics instructors.
Emma Young, events manager at Yorkshire Cancer Research, said: “Thanks to all those people who took part and helped raise about £45,000 for Yorkshire Cancer Research. We appreciate these are financially difficult times for people, but every penny counts.”
