A GROUP of African Christians have been exploring Huddersfield as

part of a twinning project with Wakefield diocese. Twelve visitors from Mara, in Tanzania, visited Huddersfield Parish

Church yesterday, as part of a two week visit to the diocese. They attended a Eucharist service by Bishop of Pontefract, the Rt

Rev Tony Robinson and a senior church leader from Mara. Music was provided by choirs from Huddersfield Parish Church, St

Barnabas Church at Crosland Moor and from the African visitors. Mara has been twinned with Wakefield diocese for 18 years.
