FIVE Huddersfield friends will go head-to-head with five celebrities on national TV.
The group are set to star on the Alan Carr Celebrity Ding-Dong show, where they will be pitted against five top celebrities.
Adele Hayley, 23, Melanie Piplady, 24, Chris Markham, 21, William Hayley, 25, and Sephra Duff, 21, have already filmed the show. Also present was team reserve Adam Cuthbert.
And their 30 minutes of fame will be shown on Channel Four on February 8.
The group are keeping tight-lipped about the five celebrities they will go up against.
But it is rumoured that Lorraine Kelly, Strictly Come Dancing stars Brendan Cole and Matt Di Angelo, former Coronation Street actress Sally Lindsay and agony aunt Tricia Goddard will appear.
Radio DJ Chris Moyles, TV presenter Davina McCall, musician Myleene Klass and reality-star David Gest also feature in the series.
Adele, from Golcar, said: “The whole experience has been absolutely brilliant – one of the best of my life.
“Meeting Alan Carr was such a highlight because he is so funny and friendly.
“He told us not to be nervous and just to enjoy it and we did.”
They filmed the show last November and had to beat the celebrities in a series of quizzes as they aimed for the Celebrity Ding Dong title.
Adele works with autistic people along with Melanie and Sephra, while Chris is a student and William serves in the Army.
Adele added: “We were treated like celebrities, they couldn’t do enough to help us.
“We stayed in a top hotel and when we got to the studios our dressing room doors had our names on them.
“We even had hair stylists and our make-up done professionally.
“Alan Carr was so lovely, really down-to-earth and because he is a stand-up comedian he had us all in stitches.
“Afterwards I asked him to pretend to kiss me for a picture, but he really did.
“We can’t wait to see the programme, I think it’ll be really funny.”
