REAL ale fans have given the thumbs-up to a pub that reopened just over a year ago.
The Campaign for Real Ale Huddersfield and District Branch presented its Pub of the Season award to the Tunnel End Inn at Marsden.
Owners Bev and Gary Earnshaw were praised by Camra for their outstanding commitment to good service.
"It is their first Camra award and is well deserved," said branch chairman Bob Tomlinson.
Bev said walkers, bikers and trippers were attracted by the scenic location, warm welcome and home-cooked food, which she prepared.
The couple's daughters Jodie, 14 and Eloise, 15, also help out in the pub.
