A MAN who allegedly threatened to take a woman hostage has appeared in court.
Stewart Wyatt, of Farfield Road in Almondbury, appeared before Huddersfield magistrates.
The 43-year-old is accused of acting in a manner that led Dawn Hampson to fear that violence would be used against her.
He is alleged to have said that he intended to take her hostage.
Wyatt was remanded in custody.
He will next be in court on March 17 when his case is likely to be committed to crown court.
