An Almondbury woman is due in court charged with benefit fraud.
Julie Kirkham, of Aldonley, will appear at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court on April 28.
She faces two charges of dishonestly failing to notify a change of circumstances affecting her entitlement to housing and council tax benefits and income support.
The 30-year-old allegedly failed to inform Kirklees Council and the Department for Work and Pensions that she was living with Thomas Knowles as husband and wife.
