A FIFTEENTH man has been arrested after a TV documentary about the extent of racism in the British National Party.

Tom Lyndon, 47, of Harrogate, was detained on suspicion of incitement to commit racial hatred following the BBC programme, Secret Agent.

The documentary, broadcast last July, featured covertly-filmed footage showing BNP activists confessing to race-hate crimes and party leader Nick Griffin condemning Islam as a "vicious, wicked faith".

A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "A 47-year-old Harrogate man was arrested on suspicion of incitement to cause racial hatred and will be questioned by police.

"The arrest was part of an on-going investigation in relation to the BBC documentary Secret Agent."

BNP spokesman Phil Edwards said: "It's a disgraceful situation. They do it in order to intimidate and threaten us."

Dr Edwards said Mr Lyndon was intending to stand as a Parliamentary candidate for a Bradford constituency at the next General Election.

* Three Bradford men appeared before Leeds magistrates yesterday charged with racially aggravated, intentional harassment as part of the police investigation into Secret Agent.

They were Steve Barkham, 24, Keith Webster, 29, and Richard O'Grady, 23. All were granted bail and the case was adjourned until Thursday, March 10.
