A HUDDERSFIELD nursing home is calling on green-fingered volunteers to help create a special garden for its residents.
Cleveland House Nursing Home in Cleveland Road, Edgerton, is one of 42 BUPA care homes across the UK developing sensory gardens this year for residents and relatives to enjoy.
Volunteers are needed to create the garden, which has been designed to stimulate the senses with colourful, pleasant- smelling plants and strong features, such as sculptures and running water.
It is hoped the project will start next week.
Garden enthusiasts who would like to help should phone Cleveland House Nursing Home on 01484 512323.
