AN appeal is being made after Huddersfield housing plans were turned down. An independent planning inspector will decide on the plans for a site bordered by Blackmoorfoot Road and Quarry Road in Crosland Hill. Applicants Standard Holdings want to build an unstated number of homes. Kirklees Council refused permission in March last year. The hearing will be at Huddersfield Town Hall on Wednesday.

Concerns about traffic was one reason for refusal.
