Members of the public are being urged to look out for realistic looking guns stolen from war games enthusiasts between 7pm and 8pm last night.

A pistol and four automatic rifles used in Airsoft shooting games were taken from a storage unit in the Colne Valley.

Airsoft is a combat simulation sport like paintball, using plastic BB pellets.

The high-value guns are non-lethal and cannot be converted but they look like the real thing.

The rifles look identical to ones used by US Army soldiers and are known as Real Imitation Rifles in the industry.

Detectives from Huddersfield have appealed for anyone with information to contact the police via 101.
