Armed police called to incident in Staincliffe Road, Dewsbury

The investigation is ongoing

Armed police are involved in an incident in Dewsbury.

They have been called to a house in Staincliffe Road but officers are giving away few details.

There were reports one man was being seen led from the semi-detached house in handcuffs.

A large number of police officers have been involved.

The house has been cordoned off by police for several hours and scenes of crimes officers have been working at the scene.

A front window at the house has been shattered.

Police would say only that an operation was ongoing and are expected to reveal more details later.
