TWO staff members at a fish and chip shop were terrorised by armed raiders.
Two masked men crept into the Golden Fish on Leeds Road, Liversedge, through a back door at 11.20 last night.
They threatened the man and woman working there with a baseball bat and a crowbar before making them lie face down.
One was then forced to open the safe and the thieves shut the victims in a toilet and fled with cash.
Det Con Neil Johnson, of Kirklees CID intelligence unit, said: "These men may have been hanging around for some time before the attack, possibly on Hindley Road which is just off Leeds Road.
"The shop is a landmark in that area and people may well remember seeing these men.
"After the robbery did anyone see the thieves running away or did they get into a car?"
