A MAN went into a Huddersfield bank to open a new account ... and ended up arrested.
Checks revealed the 24-year-old man at the counter at the HSBC bank on Cloth Hall Street at 4pm yesterday was wanted by the Immigration Service.
He was arrested by police and taken to Huddersfield police station for questioning by officials from the Border And Immigration Agency.
