THOUSANDS of art enthusiasts flocked to Holmfirth last week - and helped raise cash for charity.
More than 15,000 people visited the town for the 39th Holmfirth Artweek.
About 400 artists took part in exhibitions across the town to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
The seven-day event, based at Holmfirth Civic Hall, raised at least £30,000 for the charity.
A total of 550 pieces of art were sold in the main exhibition.
Hundreds more were sold in the exhibition market and at 19 other fringe venues, including shops and bars.
Artists donated 20% from the sale of their work.
Organiser Richard Raby said: "It went really well.
"We got off to a slow start, but it soon picked up.
"Nearly all the artists were from Yorkshire and about 200 were from Huddersfield and the Holme Valley.
"Visitors came from across the country."
