ART workshops for families will be held in Huddersfield next week.

Children, young people and parents are invited to the half term art sessions at Huddersfield Art Gallery.

Making a Scene will take place on Tuesday, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm when artist and theatre designer Amy Hirst will lead an energetic workshop.

Children and young people will take inspiration from photographic ’backgrounds’ in the gallery to create huge painted backdrops of new landscapes.

Painting Plants and Amazing Places will be on Friday, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

It is a workshop for those who love drawing and painting and artist Jake Attree will lead the fun workshop exploring landscapes and demonstrating techniques.

Places cost £5 per child or £4 with a Kirklees Passport.
