HUDDERSFIELD Christian Fellowship plans a charity auction to raise cash for new premises.

The event will take place on June 19 at 11am at its Harvest House premises at St John's Road.

The auction will be conducted by Ian Peace, principal auctioneer and valuer for Calder Valley Auctioneers.

Mr Peace will aim to sell more than 250 lots, including antique furniture, pictures, art, stamp collections, silverware, pottery, musical instruments, pop memorabilia, books and toys, jewellery and modern collectables.

The lots, donated by Fellowship supporters, can be viewed from 2 to 8pm on June 18 and on June 19 from 9 to 11am.

Proceeds will go towards a fund for building new premises for the Fellowship at the former Brook Crompton engin- eering site at St Thomas's Road, between Folly Hall and Longroyd Bridge.

This will replace its Fellowship Centre at North- umberland Street, which it plans to sell to Kirklees Music School.
