A student from The University of Huddersfield, who recently received a top award, has had her designs mass produced for sale with a national retailer.

Danielle Complin was one of two students whose work was chosen for manufacture.

The products have just reached the shelves of Currys PC World.

The 2013 Young Creative Network Awards had set a brief which invited students to develop and design a new range of accessories to be sold online and in-store.

Danielle’s range, Birdhouse for Goji, is inspired by her passion for fashion and beauty and her keen interest in Twitter.

The bird featured within the design is inspired by the Twitter logo and the colour scheme and floral pattern are influenced by the trends on this season’s catwalk.

Goji, the young, fashion-led technology brand, exclusive to Currys PC World, partnered Young Creative Network to organise and present the awards.

The range of products to be produced using Danielle’s designs are headphones, laptop bags, sleeves, ipad cases, MP3 players and more.
