STUDENTS at Marsden Junior School received special awards during the Year 6 leavers’ assembly.
Three pupils who had made outstanding contributions to school life received certificates.
Annabel Pugh received a certificate to mark 100% attendance during her four years at the school.
Daniel Clark and Hannah Morelli were the first recipients of the Dick Etheridge Good Citizen Award.
Mr Etheridge, a former long-standing school governor, retired last year.
The award was created to mark his outstanding contribution to the school.
Teachers and pupils voted for the students who were most worthy of the award.
