PROUD Yorkshire folk gathered to celebrate the best bits about their county.

The Tolson Museum held Yorkshire Day celebrations at the venue in Ravensknowle Park.

Activities included crafts, quizzes and exhibitions.

And music came from local bands like Sellers International Youth Band.

In the museum’s new community Heritage Room a group decorated a huge white rose with thoughts about what makes Yorkshire special.

It was added to the rose bunting created by children at Moldgreen Community Primary School.
