ONE man was badly hurt in a crash at Hipperholme.
Two Renault cars smashed virtually head-on in Halifax Road just before 10.45pm last night.
One man in his 20s was trapped in the wreckage with multiple injuries, including suspected spinal injuries.
The roof was cut off the car to free him and he was taken to Calderdale Royal Hospital.
His condition was not known this morning.
It is not clear if he was a driver or passenger.
No-one else was badly hurt.
