BIBLES of all kinds from Hebrew scrolls to Braille versions are to go on display in Huddersfield.
Hundreds of school children and adult visitors are expected to visit Huddersfield Bible Week at the parish church and Lord Street Methodist Mission from May 17 to 22.
The Bible Expo celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Bible Society this year.
Mrs Irene Mee, chairperson of Christians Together, which is organising the event, said: "This is an important event to show the significance of the Bible to our life and culture and the value that Christians place in the Bible.
"There is something to interest and stimulate people of all ages. Everyone is very welcome, whatever their background."
Also on show during the Expo will be coins, ancient jewellery and cosmetics, weapons, models and displays about the background to the Bible and its cultural influences.
It will be officially launched on Monday, May 17, by the Mayor of Kirklees Clr Barbara Allonby at 7.30pm in the Methodist Mission.
Opening times will be Tuesday, May 18 to Friday, May 21, 9.30am to 4pm, and Saturday, May 22, 10am to 3pm.
