TWO Huddersfield private dental clinics are up for awards.

Staff at The Courtyard on Wormald’s Yard, King Street, are celebrating after winning at the 2008 Dental Practice Wow Awards.

The clinic was handed the prize for its excellent customer service.

Those shortlisted had to give 10 minute presentations in London describing their customers’ journeys.

The Courtyard was chosen as the best practice in the large town/small city category.

Gencare Dental Clinic in St George’s Square is also in the running for an award.

The centre is celebrating being nominated for its third national award in less than a year.

It has been shortlisted for the best practice in the design and interior category at the Dental Awards.

The clinic invested £300,000 transforming the grade II-listed Britannia Buildings in the historic square.

The winner will be announced later this month.
