THEY'RE getting on their bikes for a good cause.
Fundraisers all over Huddersfield are backing the annual Kirkwood Hospice Bike Ride.
This year's event will be on Sunday, October 10.
Last year, participants helped to raise almost £5,000 for the hospice.
The fun event will be setting off from the Albany Road, Dalton, hospice between 10am and 11am. There are three routes to choose from - the six-mile Family Fiesta, the 15- mile Pedal Pusher and the 26-mile Kirkwood Challenge.
"We hope previous riders, as well as new ones, will have an enjoyable couple of hours cycling," said the hospice's events co-ordinator, Joanne Gledhill.
"We already have over 40 entrants for this year."
If you want to take part phone Joanne phone on 01484 557911.
The routes have been set by Kirklees Council's countryside and access officer, John Gleadow.
