EMERGENCY services were at the scene of a road accident this morning where a motorcyclist is believed to have died.
The biker was riding a black Yamaha bike which was in collision with a Mitsubishi car on the main road to the M1 motorway near West Bretton.
Paramedics were first on the scene and alerted police.

was immediately sealed off while police accident investigation experts worked at the scene and traffic was diverted.
A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman was unable to confirm if the accident at 6.20am was fatal.
She said: "We were alerted by the ambulance service to the accident which is near to Bretton Country Park and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park."
Early indications are that the biker may have come from Huddersfield.
