A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a crash in West Yorkshire.

The 37-year-old was fatally injured when his Honda bike was in a crash with a car in Leeds.

Police confirmed the 21-year-old car driver was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving

The tragedy happened at 3pm on Saturday on Moorfield Road at its junction with Stanningley Road in Leeds.

The car involved was a black Vauxhall Astra.

The biker suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he died in the early hours of yesterday morning.
