A young biker is fighting for his life in hospital after a crash in Brackenhall yesterday.
The collision occurred between a motorbike and silver Audi A6 in Oxley Road at the junction with Catherine Road shortly after 4pm.
The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old male, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with life threatening injuries.
Witnesses told police the victim was not wearing a helmet.
Police have dismissed witness reports that the driver fled the scene.
Anyone who witnessed this collision is asked to call Western Area Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support Team via 101.
