CARS and bikes of all ages were on display at the annual David Brown Motor Club show.

People from all over the region came to show their classics at the Lockwood- based engineering firm's social club gathering.

The meet was held at the Rose and Crown, Golcar.

Twenty cars were on show including a Mini with a Suzuki motorbike engine that can reach 400 horse power.

Organiser Nigel Hilling, of Linthwaite, who showed his 1953 Ford Anglia said: "It was a good night. We all had fun looking at the cars which people brought.

"If only the weather had been better I think we would have got even more people turning up.

"The stars of the show had to be the special Mini and a motorbike called a Sunbeam from the 1920s."
