WHEELED bin collections are on track to be back to normal next week after the Christmas and New Year backlog.
Paul Whittaker, cleansing manager for Kirklees Council, said collections were going very well and there had been no bad weather to hinder the catch-up process.
"Everything is going according to plan. We will be back to normal by the end of the week," he said.
Mr Whittaker said normal collection days would resume from Monday.
He said refuse collectors were taking additional bags which had accumulated over the festive period.
Green bins would also be collected as arranged this month.
