DUSTBINS have been left unemptied in parts of Huddersfield after a dispute involving council workers.
Several collections were not completed yesterday after a dispute centred on Kirklees Council's Vine Street depot, but council officials hope the matter has now been resolved.
A spokesman said: "There has been an internal operational issue which has affected a small number of refuse collection rounds in Huddersfield.
"This has now been resolved.
"We would ask residents who have had a missed collection to keep presenting their bins until they are emptied.
"We hope that all the refuse collection rounds will be back to normal by Saturday lunchtime."
