A JURY continued its deliberations today in the trial of a man accused of taking part in the Birkby fire deaths.
Shakiel Shazad, 23, of Gledholt Road, Gledholt, is charged with eight counts of murder and conspiracy to commit arson.
The jury at Leeds Crown Court was sent home on Wednesday after failing to reach any verdicts relating to Shazad.
Two other men, Shaied Iqbal, 26, and Nazar Hussain, 24, have already been convicted of wiping out three generations of a family at a house in Osborne Road in May last year.
Iqbal, of Springdale Street, Thornton Lodge, was found guilty of eight counts of murder and Hussain of eight counts of manslaughter.
