BOGUS repairmen stole an elderly man’s passport after conning their way into his home.
The 82-year-old was in his flat on Hurstwood in Deighton when a man said he needed to turn off the water for a colleague who was repairing a washing machine in the flat above.
He emptied a cupboard under the sink and turned off the stop-tap.
While doing so, a second man walked in and stole cash, a passport and a bank card before walking around to the kitchen window and telling his accomplice it was time to go.
The pair were white and in their mid-20s.
One was slim, about 5ft 9ins tall and had light hair.
The second suspect was wearing a woolly hat.
