A SCHOOLBOY was mugged by two men who pushed him off his bike and made off with it.

The incident happened at about 3pm on Tuesday at Norman Road, Birkby.

The 15-year-old boy was stopped by two Afro-Caribbean men in their late teens or early 20s. The men asked the boy for his bike and, when he refused, physically removed him from the bicycle before leaving with it.

They were described as being skinny with short dark hair, clean shaven and had local accents. Both also wore black jackets, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

The stolen bike, valued at £250, was a 17.5” frame blue-grey Muddy Fox Hustle with 26” alloy wheels, dual suspension and 18 speed gears and model number 08969BA.
