Brighouse post office is set to move – back in time!

The proposal is to move the branch from its current location at Wellington Arcade, Brighouse, to The Old Post Office, less than 200 metres away at Park Street.

It would mean a return to its original use for the three-storey stone building, which dates back to Victorian times.

A six-week consultation period is now under way for customers and interested parties to give their comments on the move.

If the move goes ahead, the branch will open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday instead of closing at 12.30pm on Saturdays as at present.

The consultation will close on May 17. Submissions can be made during the consultation by Freepost YOUR COMMENTS to Post Office Ltd, via email to comments@postoffice.co.uk, via the Customer Helpline on 03457 22 33 44 or Textphone 03457 22 33 55.
