A PETITION signed by hundreds of people was handed to Calderdale councillors urging them to act over speeding drivers.
The residents of Whinney Hill Park in Brighouse want action after a spate of incidents on the estate.
Clr Scott Benson, a Brighouse ward councillor, handed the petition to members of Calderdale’s Cabinet.
It tells the council that “Unless action is taken we feel that a serious accident is likely to occur. We urge Calderdale Council to introduce road safety measures with immediate effect”.
Councillors are to consider the petition.
