BUDDING movie stars are being encouraged to come forward to audition for roles in a short film.

The film Three Dreams is a narrative of a dream including a man being accosted by a tiger, a drug deal gone sour and a girl fed till her face gets too big for her glasses.

The duo behind the project are Huddersfield born Gopal Dutta and Donna Wood.

They have launched a new company Bwesson Films and are looking for actors from the Calderdale, Kirklees and Bradford areas.

Once completed it will be sent out to major UK and international film festivals and then made available on the internet.

Mr Dutta’s films have previously aired at the Leeds International Film Festival and Ms Wood has worked on Top Gear and Crimewatch.

The film-makers can provide expenses for all actors involved and a DVD of the final film, as well as an invitation to a wrap party and cinema screening of the film.

Local actors who fit the following profiles are being invited to audition this week: white males with a playing age of 25 – 55, Asian males with a playing age of 15 – 30 and white females with a playing age of 20 – 30.

No experience is necessary – the film-makers are keen to hear from and work with people who may never have tried their hand at acting as well as seasoned professionals.

Auditions and interviews are to be held from today until Friday December 4 with shooting planned from Monday December 7 to Sunday December 20.
