CHEERLEADERS for Batley Bulldogs rugby league side are holding auditions in the new year for new dancers. The squad of boys and girls aged 14-25 have been together for four years and have achieved first place in many competitions. As well as dancing at all Batley home games, the team also perform stunts and gymnastics, such as human pyramids. Captain Emma Coombs said: "I would be interested to see any gymnasts, even without any dance experience. The auditions will be very informal and not at all scary, so please come along." The auditions will be held at the Heartbeat Gym in Little Germany, Bradford, on January 15, from 10am until noon.
