A MAN tussled with a burglar he found at his workplace.

The victim was working late at the Ideal Kitchen Company, at Leeds Road, Huddersfield, at 6.10pm on Thursday when he heard an internal alarm go off.

He spotted two men on a CCTV system in the showroom and went to find out who they were.

But when he got there he could only find one man.

The victim went upstairs and tried to detain the other intruder, who he found coming out of one of the rooms.

The burglar managed to wriggle free and both men fled along Leeds Road towards Huddersfield town centre.

One of the raiders was described as white, aged 16 or 17, 5ft 9ins and slim with short brown hair.

He carried a drinks can and was casually dressed in a light- coloured sweater with dark blue stripes and light-coloured trousers.

The other was also white and aged 15 or 16, 5ft 6ins and skinny.
