CHANGES to bus services across Huddersfield have been introduced this week.
The new timetables have been introduced by bus company First.
The extensive changes have affected many areas including Kirkheaton, Upper Heaton, Longwood, Deighton, Bradley, Newsome and Primrose Hill.
Some services have been axed and in other areas the times and frequency of buses have changed.
We asked travellers at Huddersfield Bus Station what they thought of the changes.
Our survey below found that opinions varied:
Name: Mrs Janet Dugdale
Lives: Slaithwaite
Job: Shop assistant at Beatties in Kingsgate
Says: : "I use the Colne Valley Circular. The timetable has changed slightly. It used to go at 20 minutes past the hour and now it's 20 to the hour which is more inconvenient. I get a weekly Rider ticket and have to pay 10p more now if I want to get off nearer home."
Name: Mrs Janet Pogson
Job: Lunchtime supervisor at Netherton Infant and Nursery School
Catches: 317 from Kirkheaton into town
Says: "It means the bus is coming that bit earlier. It's arriving at 7.50am instead of about 8.05pm. I now have to catch the 7.40am bus to take my boy to school on time."
Name: David Pickles
Lives: Almondbury
Job: Cleaner at Huddersfield Town Hall
Says: "I can catch a few buses into town on a morning. I don't think it's going to affect me at all."
Name: Alec Poppleton

Says: "I think everything has slightly changed but I do not know by how much. I have not read any reports about it. I do not know how it will affect me until I find out about the new times."
