A BUS has crashed into a post on Huddersfield ringroad, causing tailbacks.

A BUS has crashed into a post on Huddersfield ringroad, causing tailbacks.

The incident, which happened just before 4pm, saw the bus collide with a metal barrier as it appeared to make its way from Leeds Road towards Northumberland Street.

Traffic along the ringroad is tailing back from Northumberland Street to beyond Huddersfield University

Police, fire and the ambulance service are all currently at the scene.
