A WOMAN has slammed a bus driver who was allegedly seen talking on a mobile phone whilst driving a bus-load of passengers.

The woman, who did not want to be named, said the driver of the Huddersfield Free Town Bus was on his phone as he pulled up outside the Kingsgate Centre at 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.

A spokesman for Metro said it was down to the bus operator, Honley-based K-Line, as to what action they took.

A manager at K-Line said they were yet to speak to the driver involved but claimed all buses were fitted with hands-free phones.
